Kytons was recently awarded five medals at the Sydney Royal Fine Foods Competition. This competition is open to food producers from all over Australia, so we were delighted to receive medals for five of our products at the recent competition announcement. Kytons received the following accolades –

Self Saucing Chocolate Pudding – Silver Medal
Self Saucing Sticky Date Pudding – Bronze Medal
Macadamia and White Choc Cookies – Bronze Medal
Aged Brandy Pudding – Bronze Medal
Traditional Christmas Pudding – Bronze Medal

Of course getting product to Sydney on time and in a fit state for judging is always a challenge, so we flew Kytons owner Sharon over the night before judging with the precious cargo in her hand luggage. One plane flight, three trains and a night in a hotel at Olympic Park later – the products were delivered to the Sydney Show Grounds for judging at 8am.

But all that travelling was worth it for a great result that reinforces the fact that Kytons products can mix it with the best in Australia (and Sharon may have snuck in a ferry ride in the sunshine and a wander around Sydney before heading home!)
